Hi, I am struggling with reduction after losing 20 lbs before Covid-19 caused being quarantined and it has now been 1 lbs a week. I am guessing it is due to staying indoors and the calories are not being burnt enough and 1000 calories might be sufficient. Does anyone else having experience in slow loss due to being quarantined?

With the few calories we eat they do not need to be burned away by activity. In addition to pounds, are you measuring for inches lost? How close to your goal weight are you?

Just to give background - I earlier was doing IP and regained weight by 20 lbs. I restarted IP again in Feb and so far reduced 30 lbs. First two months it was 20 lbs but next two months is is 1 lbs a week. From this month, I have started IPA. I am still 20 lbs from my goal. I have not measuring the inches lost. Will start doing going forward.

@hiphuggers with one pound a week you will be there in October. I know that sounds like a long time from now. But it isn’t. If you want someone to look over your food journal, that may identify a way to speed up the loss.

@paugh2 Thanks for the inputs. I would start doing a journal going forward as some times veggies or dinner protein is more than suggested.
