My daughter is 3yo and will be going to kindergarten in 2022. How far in advance should I start looking? How long is the wait period to get her in? Should I start looking now and put her on the list ASAP? Please advise wise ones

As far as public schools in Naperville there is no waiting period

For public school? No you just enroll them like the Spring before . There's no wait list.

@incipit go on the district website to look at the boundary map and it should show what school is assigned to your subdivision/immediate area. Then you can call that school to find out when to get your registration process started.

If 203 - Registration for 203 starts in February for the upcoming school year. Each school has a designated preview day where the parent and child gets to see the building and learn important information. It is important to get on the mailing/email list at your school the year before so you can receive updates. I called our school’s main office number in late fall/early winter to get on “the list”. After that I received a packet in the mail that had general information for enrollment and dates
