I am 30 weeks pregnant with my first baby and have developed severe SPD pain that is getting worse each day. I am seeing my OB next week to hopefully get some advice, but I am looking for some temporary relief. Any helpful recommendations for the pain? Also if anyone has a spare pregnancy support belt they would be willing to sell, please let me know. Thank you all in advance for your responses

I might have something! I’m 33 weeks now and I bought something early on that helped a little but it got so much better I’m not using it anymore!

I have one you can have! Let me look for it and make sure I can find it. You can have it for free.

If either of the above two are unable to assist please let me know. I received two in the mail from my insurance and will only need one. The other is brand new (free). Just PM me.

I have a support belt you can have, Momma! I had my LO in Nov so it’s fairly new. Would you like it? I’ll PM you my address. Here’s a pic:

The belt didn’t help me at all. Even rolling over in bed hurt! My hips also hurt just from laying down to sleep. I took a tennis ball and while sitting down, I squeezed it between my knees for a few reps twice a day. I also had several prenatal massages that helped tremendously! I know that’s not an option right now but I rolled the tennis ball against the trigger points in my glutes. Like pushed up against a wall while bending over. When I hit a sensitive spot, I would hold it there. That was honestly the worst part of my pregnancy physically.

Hey girl! I’m sorry you’re going through this. The end gets tough. I went to PT during my third tri because of hip and back pain too. I have a support band you can borrow!

THE BELT. I had such bad pain i couldn't walk. I had to drag myself up the stairs and i was crying cause i was the maid of honor in my sister's wedding in 2 weeks and i was sure i would need a wheelchair. The belt saved me. I wore heels at her wedding all day! Good luck mama!

The belt is really the only thing that helped me. Thankslenol helped maybe a little but barely. The other option is physical therapy but is probably not feasible at this time given the current situation. I had SPD so bad with my first baby and I could barely walk. The belt helped a little but there wasn’t much I could do. Sorry! It totally sucks.
