I spilled my coffee on my carpet and can’t get the stain out! I’ve tried Oxyclean, blue dawn dish soap and my little green machine. any tried and true ways to remove coffee?! (For the record, I’m more upset to have wasted a full cup of coffee )

Not sure if it works for coffee, but “wine away” works amazing for wine stains. Maybe it will get coffee out too?

@gynecocracy it might. I've used it on other stains on clothes - berries, sauce, etc. Maybe coffee too!

Try 1 tablespoon dish soap with 1 tablespoon vinegar mixed with 2 cups water. Add mixture slowly to stain and use white cloth to blot stain away.

Folex spray. I’ve heard you can find it at hardware stores and Amazon. I’ve never used it personally but I’ve been thinking about getting some because people seem to swear by it for kids and pets, so I’m sure it works for coffee!

@fash92 yes! Folex! It took coffee out of my white rug! I can still see some dark spots, but I figure after a summer with dirty kid feet, they’ll blend right in!

Try Folex! I haven’t tried it on coffee but it seems to work on everything else! I got it at Lowe’s last month.

@innovation6079 I came here to suggest this too. I've never tested it on coffee, but it's gotten plenty of pet stains out of my carpet. And saved the carpet when the dog ate (and then puked up) an entire tube of diaper cream. ‍♀️

And I would be shocked if it didn't work on coffee, my grandma once scrubbed the pattern off a dress getting a stain out

Furry Freshness. I know it’s mainly for pets but it works on EVERYTHING. It’s expensive but I can say it 100% works. The only downside I found is that once I cleaned a carpet stain, I realized how dirty my carpet actually was ‍♀️

I’ve gotten some pretty strong stains out with pouring a decent amount of baking soda over it and then vinegar. Let it bubble up and then with a wet towel, scrub away. I usually vacuum over it because there’s always a little baking soda left behind .

Put baking soda on the stain with a little bit of water. Let it sit, then scrub. Vacuum when dry.

If try boiling vinegar. Blot it out. This is what many carpet people told me. Then blot with plain water. If that doesn't work try boiling using flolex. The heat really helps it release.

Try Resolve! Always got dried blood out as my son would get nose bleeds in the middle of the night and what I didn’t see was dried into the carpet in the morning! Always worked! If it can work on that I would think it should work on coffee!

I have dumped an entire cup of coffee on light carpet before (more than once lol). Natures miracle gets it completely out every time!

I'd put baking soda to soak up alllllllll the moisture. Might take a few applications. Th n after try white vinegar
