The overall rate went down but the value of the land and property went up. At least that’s what happened with our tax bill. Ours went up over $1500.

These taxes are the only thing that is going to make us move out of Kendall County after my son graduates high school. we cannot afford the increases year after year and. it’s going to be tough to sell because of how high they are already! I’ve been here over 45 years. it’s so sad.
