Hi everyone!  I’m still new in town and learning my way around.Hi everyone! I’m still new in town and learning my way around. My mother-in-law is visiting and I was wondering if you had any suggestions on things to do with her while my husband is at work and the kids are at school? Maybe within a 20-30 min drive. Any ideas greatly appreciated!

A little bit more of a drive, but the Chicago Botanic Garden (Glencoe) has an orchid show. I haven’t been yet, but hear it’s beautiful.

Citrus Diner in Westmont (used to be called Moondance Diner) is one of my Mom and I’s favorite spots! We love their tortilla soup and chicken pecan dijon salads! Oak Brook mall would be great if the weather is decent. There are so many good ideas on here that I am gonna have to try with my Mom!
