Question

Looking for some help.  I recently added a solar panel to my Spotlight cam but in the device health there's no indication a panel is attached.Looking for some help. I recently added a solar panel to my Spotlight cam but in the device health there's no indication a panel is attached. I called Ring, they sent another panel out, same thing. When I asked them what the solar panel status should indicate they said. "ah I'm not sure". I'm assuming the Solar Panel Status section should indicate a panel is attached. Possibly a bad camera? Anything need to be done differently during the setup?

I don't have the solar panel indication in my app (Android. ) I like that Ring keeps bringing out new features, but I don't like how they slow roll everything out. Many people have the exact same products, but have different options in the various apps

I have a solar panel attached to mine, been there for over 2 years. my app says the same thing. I file it under " things I don't care about" because they work still.

Mine has said that since I first got it over a year ago. The panel works and keeps the battery charged.

Mine does that too. As long as your battery level is between 95&100% you know its charging. Some times mine goes below 100% due to the cold weather.

I have solar panel on a spotlight and that notice didn’t appear until more recently, I just ignored it since the solar panel is still charging my device.

On my Stick up cams I have outside, with a Solar Panel attached, it says " Solar Panel Status" Connected

I have 2 solar, it don’t say anything but I know it’s working because it’s 100 percent charge at the end of the day it goes down at night about 94, 93 the lowest
