Someone we know has suggested that our Ring doorbell has the ability to view INSIDE our house! Anyone seen an article that suggests this? We all know it’s completely nuts! I’m just curious re: source.

Next time you see them, hand them a roll of tin foil. Tell them they can make their own hat. It is technically impossible unless you put the doorbell facing inside.

There is one camera on the front of the doorbell. If you put it in your house it sure could see in there, however if you put it facing out by your front door is sure will not. Good grief who comes up with this kind of crap?

I’ve put mine inside to watch contractors, so yes, they can see inside your house if you want them to.

Of course it has the ability to watch Inside your house, it depends where you put it! I have heard that if you put black tape Over the lens stops it tho.

Clarification: it still has power, the doorbell will ring, it just will not connect back to our WiFi so we can use the camera!
