I have my front and back door sensors set as main doors. I also have exit delay and entry delay set for 30 seconds on each door. I know I have it set up correctly because it’s been working (I get the countdown when I leave and when I arrive home). but 3 weeks ago I entered my front door and the siren sounded as I opened the door. I checked my settings and nothing had changed. After that everything worked fine again but then yesterday it happened again. I received the confirmation call each time. Anyone else have this issue or any ideas about what could be causing this random delay failure? Again. entry and exit delays are set for 30 seconds (both set as main doors) Base station has strong wifi signal and didn’t switch to cellular backup. Base station didn’t lose power or operate on battery backup. Any help is greatly appreciated

I’m not sure on your zone setup, but maybe the control may not be sensing your door opening to start the delay and your tripping the motion detector. That’s my thought.

Did you exit your home via a different route that doesn't have a sensor on it?

@headlight83, I would probably contact Ring Support and ask to be connected you a US call center!

Maybe it’s a bad sensor. Try swapping it with another or replace it and see if that fixes the problem.
