Question

I have 3 rings.  Doorbell for front door, battery spotlight cam for driveway and one in the back.I have 3 rings. Doorbell for front door, battery spotlight cam for driveway and one in the back. I have noticed that when the driveway spotlight triggers, the the front door won’t. So just say someone is delivering a package. The spotlight will trigger when walk up the driveway but then I don’t see them dropping the package at the door. Does anyone else have this issue? Are they interfering with each other?

No mines catch both I just cant pull it up instantly ot takes a while to load. my floodlights are hard wired though‍♀️

@desrosiers I just checked and no doesn’t look like I have them linked. Should I set that up?

@mashie84 I would. If you can't get to the front door without passing the range of the driveway cam, having the driveway cam activate the doorbell recording is a more sure way of having video of anyone at your door.

@daryldaryle - I've got 750mbps that I never put a dent in despite 11 cameras and plenty of other activity.

@adahadaha Just asking my old system had only 2 and I never linked them because of that. Would give linking a try but Only if the doorbell is hardwired.

I’ll try it, but seems like it would be a short time they are on video considering they are only 30 seconds. I wonder why it interferes

Hi Does anyone know if it’s possible to but a battery for a ring one doorbell. Thank you.
