We are planning to run electrical to our shed in a few weeks and I am having the electrician install a barn style light over the outside door. The shed is near the driveway where eventually I want to run landscape lighting down the driveway. Would it be possible to use the Ring lighting transformer in the shed to power that barn light and then eventually that landscape lighting? The barn light would be about 20 watts with an LED bulb plus the landscape lights eventually being LED too. Thanks for your help!

Probably something you should ask your electrician

If the barn light is Low voltage. If not look for smart outlets and have the electrician wire the fixture to a plug

Can’t answer without knowing the watts. 12-15 volts and 200w max.

I wasn’t even checking the voltage. Just wattage. It’s 120 V so I guess it won’t work. The light is a 200 watt light. The LED will be a 19 watt light with 200 watt equivalent.

Well you can run the Ring Smart Tranformer it runs off of standard 120 then power your low voltage landscape lights. The Ring Smart Transformer also needs the Ring bridge to connect to the WiFi. Another question is unless you want or need to control your landscape lights with the Ring you can just get a standard low voltage transformer and plug into the garage. Either way have the electrician install a outdoor weatherproof outlet for either the standard low voltage transformer or Ring Smart transformer.
