Question

I’ve set up my alarm system and have come up across a couple questions and thought I’d check with the group before calling ring to see if someone can answer. 1. When alarming through the app it will show if a door or window is open so I know to close before arming. Does the keypad give any kind of warning if you have a door open before arming? 2. I set my husband up as a user so he can arm/disarm from the app and when setting him up it just asked for his email address and not his name. When he arms via the app it will show “armed from app by null null” instead of his name. Any thoughts ? Thanks

Yea if a door is open when alarming from the keypad it mumbles something about bypassing, never caught exactly what it says though

He needs to enter his name under the ‘Account Settings’ tab to change the information to that from his email. I had to cajole my wife to do this as well.
