Can I use the same mounting plate for the Video Doorbell 2 if I decide to upgrade to a Video Doorbell 3 Plus?

Doubt it. Different models usually are different sizes. But if you look at the specs and they are identical (which i doubt) you could.

I have the RVDB2 and now have a rvdb3 and was able to use the same holes

@mohandas7417 I just contacted Ring and they said the RVDB2 uses a plate and RVDB3 uses a mount/bracket. If I understand this correctly, if I unscrew the plate and replace it with the mount/bracket, the mount/bracket should align with the original screw holes to the stucco of the house so no additional holes need to be made?

When Ring V2 came out Ring supplied extra instructions or adapter if you were installing where V1 had been installed! So possibly they might be doing the same for V3?
