How do I mix multiple 1/8" stereo inputs? Headphone mixer would be better than a simple cable splitter?

You want to get a mixer for that. A cable splitter will just give you issues if your trying to combined 2 stereo inputs. If they were 2 mono inputs to 1 stereo out put that would be a little different. How many stereo inputs are you looking at adding together?

@rasp6 I'd be mixing at least 2 stereo inputs possibly even 3 later. Stereo music, timer through bluetooth dongle, and the 3rd would be an alarm siren.

Mixer all the way. Splitter you have no control of input levels.

Gonna add this guy to fill the shop with sound more evenly. Right now I have to crank the volume as my speakers are on the end of my shop.

Does this have an audio input? If it doesn't then it's not going to help you.

Keep the existing mixer amp & use the preamp output into the line input of this

Are you wanting to mix, ie having some percentage of one or more of separate input signals or do you just want to switch from one input to another?

@logarithmic yes.

The mixer you already have is fine, use cables like what @rasp6 posted into channels 7, 8 or 9 If you want more speakers you can look into series parallel for the speakers or use the additional amp you posted by using 1/4" preamp output on mixer to RCA line input on additional amp

The mixer amp you have supports 4Ω so you could just daisy chain another speaker in on each side Speakon from mixer to first speaker then from the 2nd speakon on the speaker to the second speaker

I put the line out from the mixer power amp to the older stereo deck and when I do that the volume is about half of what I get when I connect directly. What up with that?

I'm guessing the signal voltage gets get down

The stereo will be around 40 - 90w RMS The mixer amp is 180w RMS So driving the same speakers the mixer will be louder at full volume if you are using the stereo for additional speakers I'd recommend using domestic rather than PA as they'll be more efficient (louder for the same power) but won't handle the amount of power the mixer can output

Or if at lower volume of the stereo it's quieter than the mixer you could try moving ch10 input to 7, 8 or 9 & use ch10 output to stereo

I used the line out from the behringer to the old cd stereo. and it was much quieter than direct
