A bird has decided to build a nest outside my son’s bedroom window. Was thinking it would be cool to add a camera looking out at the nest so he could see when at his mom’s house. Maybe even let it go live in fb. Any suggestions on what camera I should go with?

I like wyze kuz of the price, but I don't think it can live stream. You'd have to upload your favorite snippets. Maybe you can run the video on your computer screen and cast that screen to your facebook. Thats a Lil complicated though

That’s no bird it’s a sky rat.

@contestant I think it's a mourning dove not a pigeon

@contestant That's a mourning dove. They have sweet sounding coos. Not a sky rat to this birder.

@relate only difference is one is edible.

@contestant pigeons are edible. it’s called squab and is sadly under appreciated.

@contestant if we’re talking about NYC street pigeons I’d have to agree with you

I brought a simple bird box camera from Amazon. But a blink or Wyze cam should do the job fine

Well, good luck with that bird. from my own experience I can tell you that from now on she will come back each year and will drive you crazy with her sounds. I allowed it for one year but the year after I prevented her from starting to make a nest.

@fresnel2 yeah. We bought the house a little over a year ago. She didn’t return last year and I left the nest thinking it would deter any bird from returning. Not so lucky. We have another on the front porch that was here last year, but not this year. I’m sure over the next year or so, they will just fall “on their own”. Or that’s the story I’ll tell the wife and kids.
