I have some Inovelli Red and Black dimmers. I thought I read you can have them turn on at different levels depending on the time of day. So at 2 am when I turn on the switch, it goes to 25% or whatever I have it set to. Is there any sort of instructions on how to do that? I can’t seem to figure it out.

What hub/controller are you using - that’s what would drive those rules - not the switch itself

@avitzur SmartThings with the Inovelli DH loaded.

I am curious about this functionality as well. Especially for late night bathroom trips, it would be nice if the lights could be flipped on at a low dim level instead of leaving them off or blinding me in the middle of the night. I am brand new, have ST. But not bought any switches, so just tracking for info.

Surely it’s better to have them intelligently controlled to come on at the right level, rather than using switches?

There's a smart app within smartthings called smart lighting. It can be triggered to come on at certain brightness levels, but I'm not sure you can set it so that the paddle reacts a certain way if you do that. I don't have inovelli, so perhaps that's a function of their DH.

I wonder if you could set the trigger to be switch instead of motion and do it that way. There is a turn on & set level function

@corridor4309 it kind of worked. It goes 100% bright, then goes to your set level. I couldn’t get it to turn on at the set level without going full bright, then dropping to set level.
