Gene, you have an Arlo cam, not Blink. My Blinks do not have that feature either. I turned on notifications in the Blink app. That works for me on my phone. I don't see the Blink cam's in routines as an option either.

@salzburg92 kinda sad Arlo has better Alexa integration than an Amazon owned company.

Can you connect to blink in IFTTT? If so you can connect IFTTT to smartthings virtual switches and communicate based on the virtual switch status.

The alexa app will do that without smart things.

Ok, i just looked. I use my ring camera for this and not the blink camera. Ring offers the notification ability and blink does not. Sorry. I believe you can use webcore with smart things and make it happen though. Another easy option if webcore and ifft are difficult for you is to get a separate zwave motion detector and put it outside. If you just want notifications, the blink app will do that

I have this built in my ST environment. Motion sensors from Blink cameras will trigger an alarm if SHM is armed. I do it using IFTTT and a virtual motion sensor. I also have my cameras arm automatically when I leave my geofence.

Yes you can. I use my backyard Blink to turn on the floodlights in ST when there is motion detected by the camera when STMH is armed and it is dark outside. 1) Create a virtual switch in ST for the camera motion 2) Authorize IFTTT to use the switch 3) Create a IFTTT applet to turn on the virtual switch when the camera detects motion 4) Create ST automations triggered by the virtual switch changing to ON. I use a WebCoRE piston. You’ll need to turn the switch off in your automation so it will fire the next time.
