None of the above. But first - you need to describe exactly what zwave devices. Exact model and country matters.

@anatolia7046 Schlage z wave dead bolt Honeywell Z wave thermostat  Both models have been used in previous ST installations so I know they work.

Since they were used before did you make sure that you excluded them from previous system

@dredger sounds like they didn't pickup thr correct device handlers whennthey paired. If you login to  and go to my devices, then look at each one. What tyoe do they THINK they are? (you can also change them there, your lock for instance should be using 'ZWave Lock'

@dredger that Schlage is VERY picky about pairing because of ZWave security. It took me three times to pair one of mine and it was within 5 feet of the hub. Id check the device type in the IDE and force it to ZWave Lock if it isnt already. I suspect it will show correctly after that but I dont have a lot of hope it will work correctly. If it doesnt, you may have to exclude it, factory reset it (yes even, with a new lock) and start the pairing over again with the lock within a few feet of a beaming capable repeater device (most ZWave switches) or your hub (repeater preferred)

@dredger hmmmm interesting. Yeah thats the device handler. What if yiu changed it to 'something else' and then pop it back to ZWave Lock?

@anatolia7046 on with tech support. They are stumped as well. We think it’s a bad hub

Go in IDE and check handler.
