I got a Q90 that connects to ST. Not a lot you can do with it that I see. Except through Alexa or a Google probably.

The only thing you really need to do with a tv is to be able to stream from your mobile (phone or iPad). Samsung made since 2017. Not much to be gained otherwise smartly.

There are some serious negatives about a Samsung TV. Let me start with the positives. very inexpensive for a nice looking TV, and great display. Now the negatives. Samsung forces on you some idiotic TV application that kicks in every once in a while by itself while you are watching your preferred TV App. And there is no known way to disable it. TVPlus is free, but trust me, YOU DON"T WANT IT, and YOU WOULD PAY MORE NOT TO HAVE IT. I have no idea how they have the legal right, or even balls, to do this.

Plug a alexa cube into it, and you will get more functionality than Smartthings

I wouldn't buy another Samsung TV. I had 2 and both of them had problems with HDMI Cec and Arc. Also they don't support dolby vision which is way better than their HDR 10. I bought a Vizio the last time and it's way better and works with Alexa and Google Assistant. Dolby vision is outstanding. It's qled. No problem with Cec or Arc.
