Praying someone designs and builds a better garage door keypad. I use rboy apps and have a centralite keypad but it will not stay connected to my system. Any better choices yet?

@concise logging to the IDE and go to the page for the device. There is some zigbee stats there.

The Centralite Keypad is a zigbee device. If it is not staying connected you may need a zigbee ac powered device to enhance your Zigbee network. Take a look in IDE to view the hops and history of disconnecting. A zigbee plug may be the answer. I have one that hasn’t ever disconnected. There is a zigbee plug within 10 feet of the keypad.

@concise As a last resort install fresh batteries, delete , reset and pair again.

@concise and you did so close to the hub ? I’m curious. What is showing as next hop in the IDE ? Try rebuilding your Zigbee network. Power off the hub, remove batteries if you have them, let the hub stay off for 30 minutes then power back up Does the NextHop in the IDE change ?

I have an old school garage door keypad, just the Liftmaster standard issue programmable RF deal. It works like a champ, but it's dumb. Enter code, garage door opens. I do have a MyQ Liftmaster garage door opener. I have connection options, but haven't really come up with a case for use (for me). What have you guys gained with a truly smart keypad?

@strawflower408 I have one of those too. I want to add and delete codes for diff users, all synced to doors. And know who open what door when I’m not home
