I’m using smart things and konnected. What can I use to announce doors Opening? I have google home minis in each room.

I'm still using Lannouncer with Bigtalker 2.

@squireen6548 I’ve used that in the past but something broke the process. I’ll have to dig in I guess.

@obeisance I'm still using it works good. sometimes it stoppes working need to restart Lannouncer on my firetable. maybe 1 or 2 times a month. not a big deal. wanted to see if we cas api is more stable. looks more costumizable with your own mp3.

As @anatolia7046 mentioned, its much much easier with Alexa. Its just a case of creating a routine to have Alexa say whatever you'd like when a sensor is open, for example 'front door opened', however , with Google Home , you need the custom API
