My first post.  Only been doing this a week now.My first post. Only been doing this a week now. I'm purple. I feel like I am starving all the time. I have lost 5lb but that's using my starting weight by doctors scale and weight yesterday was my scale. Probably helps that I've been sick with bronchitis since Thursday. Today I'm starving but nothing sounds good. I love carbs and sweets and I'm picky. This isn't easy and I was in tears last week because I'm so hungry. Any suggestions would be awesome.

At first I ate a lot of bean soup/chili. I made it with white beans, red beans, mixed beans. You can make zero point bean soups. They are filling kept me from feeling ucky and light headed from not eating so much junk food. Plus I wanted it sooooo bad.

I'm on purple and it's less than a month and the scale (at home) says I've lost 5 lbs. I'M THRILLED and I absolutely love eating this way. So. the first couple of weeks when I was really hungry at dinner time - I had a microwave baked potato. with toppings. There's a ton of options. I had sauteed mushrooms (make with garlic & parsley and a tablespoon of cooking wine (not the sweet kind). The mushrooms give off a gravy and it was delish! This week I'll make a zero - 1 point turkey chili, you're only limited by your imagination. All kinds of cooked veggies & beans, plain yogurt & lots of pepper - taste great on top of baked potatoes! It's just portion control for the things with points. i. e. low fat shredded cheese,

Eat more! You should never feel like you’re really starving. If purple is too restrictive give blue a try, but the biggest thing is to incorporate more zero point foods and drink water. Don’t give up!

I am on purple and I have Steele cut oats and a banana for breakfast and coffee with skim milk. 0 breakfast, lunch salad with low calorie salad dressing, apple, maybe 2 points, dinner fish or chicken, baked potato with spray butter, two veggies and unsweetened applesauce, 0 point dinner. In between I fit in low point snacks or fresh fruit, drink lots of water, built bars later in evening. 3 so. You can also use weekly’s if needed. I am more than satisfied and sometimes have 4 points rolled over. Cannot roll over more than 4 points

As with any addiction, withdrawal is hard. LoL Drink water, chaw on celery sticks, and when you eat a meal, eat slowly, paying attention to the food: chew, taste and savor. You got this!

@roccoroch47379ybe you need to change to Blue. There is no reason to be hungry on WW. I hit my milestone last Thursday of 25 pounds. Are you going to the workshops? They have been good for me. Talk to someone at WW. Hang in there and don’t give up.

Take the day in one hour chunks. Some days, 24 hours seems daunting!

I love air popped popcorn with seasoning on it. It’s my go to in the evenings. Also sugar free popsicles. You can have 3 for 1 point. Apples are also good at night. Werthers has sugar free hard candy at Walmart. They even have a chocolate Carmel. You can have 5 for 1 point. They help my sweet tooth. It does get easier. Just keep thinking about the weight you have lost.

I'm pretty sure cosmic crisp apples single-handedly got me through my first two weeks. Anytime I was hungry I grabbed one and it took a long time to eat and they are so good that I just wanted more, but I was full by the end of it.

Kashi cereal. Whole grain high fiber. I like the cinnamon or blueberry. Watch for too much sugar in some yogurt. High protein. 12 to 17 grams is good

My go to snack and meal that satisfies my sweet tooth. I eat it once or twice a day. Nonfat plain Greek yogurt (about 1 cup, but I usually do more) 1 packet Splenda and 2 Tbls. fat free chocolate pudding (the powder from the box) each T. of chocolate pudding is 1 pt. This tastes like canned chocolate icing. I used to hate Greek yogurt but this is really good and satisfying. Try it! The Greek yogurt is 0 pts.

Start bulking up your foods with veggies. If you have a tuna melt, add onions and tomatoes. Instead of a lonely egg make ham, Cheese and veggie omelet. Add a salad to your dinner

If you limit your carbs, you won't crave much :)

I'm on purple too. I've been having baked oatmeal and fruit for breakfast everyday. It good me over until lunch easily. Yesterday I had ham and thin sliced cheese in a 1pt wrap, an apple, and popcorn for lunch, a 2pt fiber one bar for a snack and a lean burger with air fried fries for dinner. Still had a point left after dinner. Don't starve yourself. Use fruits, veggies, and whole grains to round out your meals. You can do this!

Fruits are what helped me a lot! Black grapes and watermelon helped me the most. Find some zero point foods, preferably fruits and veggies, and try to fill up more on those. I’ve lost over 100 lbs on blue!
