Lost 34 pounds in 11 months 3. 9 pounds a month. Slow and steady lost it like I gained it. Now life time. Many weeks scale wouldn't budge or I'd gain . 2 or . 4 or . 6. But never got discouraged just kept going on MY journey. So do what your doing. Good luck.

First weeks are mainly water loss. then it’s the nitty gritty fat that needs to be eliminated. it’s very stubborn. need to stick with what you are doing as you are doing a great job and it time

It’s the nature of the beast! Our bodies are not microwaves they are conventional ovens. It’s a slow process. Stay inspired.

First two weeks were extraordinary (and not sustainable) and now you are balancing out. Completely normal.

I aim for 3-4 lbs per month. Anything above is a bonus. Currently on-a plateau and happy for every. 2 I see.

As far as I’m concerned a loss no matter how slow or small is progress. I think it’s normal to fluctuate. Losing 15lbs in one month is not average, it’s well above average. Just stay the course and continue doing what you’re doing.

You're doing great. First week is always the best. Just keep on going.

You lost over 15 lbs in your first month? Wow! It's only natural that will slow down. Any loss on a weekly basis after the first month is a positive thing. :)

That’s weight loss, always really fast the first week or two. Just remember the scale is going down, regardless of the amount. That’s over 15 lbs! I’d be proud!

At first you lose a lot of water weight. And usually the third week some people gain and then some people only lose . 1 or whatever you were doing good stay on track

Totally normal. I lost 25 pounds over my first 3 months and it took me another 6 months to lose the next 25. I struggled with the last 5 weeks gaining and losing the same 4 pounds. It’s frustrating but totally normal. Just don’t give up.

Your going to see a decrease in loss the first few weeks is predominantly water and now your body is adjusting to its new normal. Stuck with it and you will see variations every week

That’s how it goes. It’s not Biggest Loser, you won’t lose every week like your first.

Yes. The closer to goal the slower the loss.

Looks about right! I had zero weight loss in weeks 3, 4 and 5 and 7, 8, and 9. I think it’s fantastic you’re actually losing each week! You got this.

Body is taking a rest to reset again. Switch something up to restart. Eat a larger breakfast, little lunch or little dinner or Visa versa

That’s how it goes and then you’ll gain and lose and lose again and then gain and then plateau. that’s how weight loss works! Sad but true!

You always lose a lot at first. You are eating so much better food and less junk. Soon, you will have another 2 or more pound loss. I averaged 3 lbs a week for 5 months. But some weeks were just a half pound. Keep at it, it works

In a typically Month I would have a good loss one week then a lesser the next week and smaller amounts or maintained the next week. That was my pattern.

You're doing great! I'm down 18. 6 in 3 months but had 3 weeks where I gained in there even though I was right on plan.

You always lose more in the first few weeks. It’s fluid. Stick to it & you will see it consistently go down.

I used to follow a 4 week cycle. Big loss, lower loss, small loss, nothing. and repeat. Just stick with it.

Just keep going! I lost a little less than a pound a week when I first started years ago before I realized I had lost 46 pounds! Pounds and ounces add up! Any loss is a WIN! Don’t give up!

I feel you lose more the first few weeks because your eating habits have dramatically changed

You need a lift up? Looks like you lost a hell of a lot your first month. Some weeks you'll gain, some lose and some stay the same. Don't let the numbers dominate you.

You should be decreasing your loss. You should only lose an average of 2 pounds per week. It takes time to put on weight; it also takes time to take it off.
