Ok I've been on this a million times. I'm a huge quitter but here I am on it again. I only really want to lose 15-20 pounds. I was down 2 pounds last week and was recently advised of some health concerns so I definitely need to change my eating and be healthier not only for me but also my kids. Now today I went over my points and my extra ones are gone too. I weigh in on monday. I'm very discouraged and want to quit. again however I really shouldn't. I need advice on what u all do? I dont work out but I do count my steps. help!

I was on WW too for a few months. I have all the tools and the support of the WW people for me I just need to eat veg and fish or chicken or meat Salads, I eat canned fruit that has no added sugar. I am down 10 lbs and it's ok if I eat something I'm not suppose to. Get back on it tomorrow. I quit saying diet and eat healthier.

Watch what you eat over the weekend. appear on Monday no matter what, and most of all don’t beat up on yourself. One day won’t make a big difference.

Why would u quit! It’s okay to not be perfect, it’s okay to make mistrals. What u need to do is just tell yourself i will do better tomorrow! And keep telling yourself that until it happens! Giving up is not an option! U got this!

Yeah, just because you don’t lose doesn’t mean you should quit. There are so many other advantages. You said you need to eat healthier. It may not start your first week. Give yourself sometime to find healthy foods you enjoy. It takes time. You can’t replace everything you eat with healthy foods in one week. I’ve been in ww for three years. I’m lifetime under goal. I ate half a box of chocolates today. Then I went and got some jicama and ate a bunch of that and had a roast beef sandwich for three points. I might gain on Tuesday but I know I can turn it around and lose. If not the next week then the next. It’s an ongoing battle and you’re just starting. Be nice to yourself. You can do this!

Tomorrow is another day on your journey. You can do this. Try spending an hour or do the night before and replan your meals and snacks Then in the morning put them into the tracker. It helps keep you on track until it becomes a habit

The point of this program is to get you to realize that when you screw up you acknowledge it document it and get right back on program

Habits r hard to change. It can take 30-90 days. There were times when I quit doing ww and some the good habits remained. Its a process that takes time. Be patient and forgiving to yourself❣

I am on week 6, my goal is to lose 25 lbs & keep it off. I am 62, pre-diabetic , high BP & bad knees. Weight loss will help all of this. So far I have lost 10 lbs , it’s hard some days , but those are the days I don’t plan my meals. It’s becoming simpler , I plan , track it all , have a treat sometimes & eat out too ! Don’t give up , it’s not all or nothing. Life just isn’t like that , I figure if I eat well 80%of the time , you know, that’s pretty darn good !

I have quit too many times. Only thing I’ve ever gained from quitting is weight. I have learned and accepted that if my weight loss will be permanent ww has to be a part of my life for the rest of it. Realizing that has completely changed my out look on it. I’ve quit to try other fad diets, none are sustainable for life. WW is my tried and true. The program always works if you work it. Plus it’s the most sustainable. A bad meal or bad day doesn’t need to stall you. Every meal/day is the opportunity to make the right decision(s) to get you to goal. 9 years ago I lost 90 pounds and was lifetime for 2 years. I was then diagnosed with Thyroid cancer. Treatment caused me to gain 80 pounds despite my best efforts to keep the weight off. Even though I was doing everything possible to lose and maintain. I realized how much more I would have gained if I wasn’t doing anything, and refused to give up. Doctor changes, medication changes, staying on track I’m finally down 70 of that 80 gained. It’s taken 2 1/2 years but you know what time is going to pass regardless of what I do. I rather it pass knowing I’m doing what I need to do and getting to goal then to spend another minute where I was. If you want to see change you have to change and stick with it. Quitting over and over again will just get you the same results. You can absolutely do this. It may take months it may take years, it will certainly take a lifetime to keep it off. So you might as well keep at it. Trust me you will be so happy that you didn’t give up!
