Hey I have a question I love green, my husband won’t join but wants to lose weight. He says that he hate tracking with points I have explained the importance of tracking and what my it works. Well should I just cook and focus on mine right now and have him eat what I eat?

Yup, he will lose unless he is eating a lot in between when not at home.

Yes ‼️ See how he does then you can adjust and tell the importance of tracking. My husband would loose when I did without tracking.

That sounds like a good strategy! I am on green too and my husband eats what I make and is losing weight that he needs to drop too.

I have my husband on WW I cook he eats in six months I’m done 52lbs he’s down 35 he doesn’t track he just eats the same way I do. In the beginning he would resist “ the skinny shit “ but when he saw weight coming off he now is embracing the journey

I have 4 in the family 2 of us joined. The 3rd person desperately need to lose weight and the forth is fit and trim and works out at the gym I decided that everyone will eat what i cook If the ones not on the program want to eat unhealthy they do. But when we all come together as a family to eat dinners its ww.

Yeah, if he eats what you eat, he’ll probably lose weight

I actually joined bc my husband joined first and I saw all the progress he was making. I would focus on you. Make those low point meals and maybe he’ll just start seeing the results and want to get more from the program. It’s different for everyone and you can’t force him to track, it’s his decision.

Must be related to my husband. Drives me crazy because he seems to always ask me about the point value of something right when I’m tracking mine. Like a 7-yr-old, wanting his answer now.

Absolutely. If he is dependent on you for his food, cook for yourself. I did this with my husband. Rather than cook for himself, he eats what I cook. He is eating a lot healthier now.

Have him eat what you eat! When he starts looking he will understand.

My husband eats what I eat and then has 8 extra points.

If he eats what you eat he'll probably lose faster than you, it seems to be the case with men. We have two couples at our workshop, they are on the same plan and the men are losing more.

My husband did not want to join, but because of how I am eating he is losing weight.

My son was like that a first, he hates tracking but he took my free membership invite to try it for a month, turns out he loves it, is on purple and is down 40 pounds in 2 months. Tell him to try the free first month, the only thing he has to lose is weight, my son says the app being so user friendly is what sold him.

My husband eats whatever I make and just from me making better choices in his presence it’s making him follow suit without even thinking about it.

My husband and son eat what I eat and have for years. If they don't like it then they can make themselves a turkey sandwich.

Do it for yourself then. too frustrating if he won't count points as men get more points.

I hate tracking too! Weighing, measuring, counting. ugh! Just serve what you eat and he should lose right along with you

Just cook the way you want to cook. He will start losing and be amazed. That is how it is with my husband is and he is losing faster than me. But men always do. He has even started making some meals

I just switched to blue, with that said I have been fixing WW recipes. My husband has been raving about them. Get your recipes from the web site and go for it. He will be happy.

Don't tell him it is a WW recipe. My significant other is very thin if it four servings he can have seconds and I can still have leftovers just measure yours first.

Yep just do you he will be motivated I have been doing weight watchers for over a year my husband is not doing it he eats pretty good he is diabetic . He always ask me what I can eat when we go out he is very mindful of my points. Now he is joining a program through the VA . You keep doing you . I have had friends and family join WW in other states people are watching and being inspired. Which keeps me motivated and going. I only joined WW for ME. that is why it is working and not because I did not feel pretty heavier but I wanted to have more energy get out of plus size clothes that’s it.
