Vent moment: I feel like I have hit my rock bottom but said that a couple months ago. A few months ago I was doing fantastic, I was going to the gym 4x a week counting my points and lost about 15 lbs. All of a sudden I had a slip up and has been a continuous cycle. I cant find my mojo I once had. How do you stay focused?

Try to remember what kept you focused and on track before. Be sure to log everything you eat. Good luck. you can do this!

Remember how good you felt when you tracked and were in control!

I always do a bit of talking to myself at the end of the day when I am brushing my teeth. I think about what I am most proud of. It never fails, I am always most proud of the things that I did that helped me move closer to my health goals. Of course I am proud of family moments or something cool at work, but bottom line if I did what I needed to do to keep me on track health wise I am the most proud. I view it a bit like when I go to the grocery store and buy something that has a "Made in South Dakota or North Dakota" sticker on it. (It is where I am from. ). It may cost more, but I am very proud to come from these states and I feel so good when I support them. That is the same feeling I get when I do what I need to do for my health. A big dose of proud. I never felt that it was important to be proud of things like that. In fact, I use to think it was boastful, but it isn't. It is the best motivation and laser focus trick in my book. Make myself proud. Much luck Jessica.

We did not put on our weight over night or even in one month. Why does everyone think that a slip of a week is going to derail everything they have done to date? Get up tomorrow. say this us a new day on my journey. Plan your meals for the day and track them. Go out for a wAlk or go to the gym, just move. The journey starts anew every morning you just have to get on the track.

@motorboating Mcginty exactly! If you get off track, just start over and be proud of it!

I remember my why and how awful I felt before.

I have to want it bad enough. My why has to be more important than gratification.

Put positive affirmations all around - on your bathroom mirror, dashboard, refrigerator, nightstand, end table - to keep your WHY in the forefront of your mind.

We are just getting back from vacation. I am not even going to weigh myself or worry about it. I need to look forward.

I think that's normal and sometimes we're just more motivated than others

How to get your mojo back? Oh, I’ve asked that questions many times. Often said, if it came in a bottle and you could buy it, we’d all have it! Something has to click inside to get that mojo back. There are some good ideas to help it get going. Someone above mentioned reviewing her day while she brushed her teeth. I like that. Maybe a small journal where you just jot a few good things you do each day (ie park further away, go to grocery store and buy health foods, preplan for a single day, have a marathon cooking day so you have lots of prepared foods already to go, take a exercise class. ). I think the more positive things you do, the better it will get. I’m only back on 3rd week and I feel like I’ve got a little mojo. not all of it yet. I actually find coming on here each night and answering comments helps put me in a positive frame of mind. Also, I live in a warm climate in a well lit area, so I’ve done a few evening walks after dark. I put on a podcast or call a friend and start my walk to get my steps in.

This is your journey. it will take different twists and turns, ups and downs. think back to how motivated you were when you first joined ww. you can and will feel that way again. re commit and believe in yourself! go to a meeting, find a ww buddy. take that first step again and keep taking that first step until it all clicks again! you got this! 15 pounds is awesome by the way

You can only take one day at a time. Don't make yourself fail with thoughts you have in your head. You are strong. You can do this.

I have a healthy fear of going backwards and a track record to prove it. And a problem with self sabotaging. I know there might not be another chance like the one I have now. Think long and hard about that next bite, the feeling passes eventually, call someone, go to a meeting. You need to accrue some clean time with your eating and you'll get stronger.

I forgot to add this. I keep this around my house

@#$& it. You don't stay focused. You mess up you realize it and you start over. You can fail your way to success. Right now start tracking, planning, and adding movement. Forgive yourself and go forward.
