Is it just me or do apples make anyone else more hungry? I eat them because they say the fiber is supposed to make you feel full but every time I do, I’m starving 15 mins later.

I agree! I find anything carbie makes me hungry. I have cut down on fruit, eating mostly just berries for fruit.

Vegetables, even though they are not what you want when you are hungry, really help. Carrots, cukes, and onion with a little apple cider vinegar and oregano are great.

Eat the apple with some cheese or peanut butter to add a little fat and protein - it will fill you up better

I also like to dice my apple up and put it in a Greek yoghurt with some cinnamon and that taste like a delicious dessert to me and also has protein that helps you feel full longer

Same here. Have to eat it with cheese or a protein like boiled egg or cottage cheese.

They really activate my appetite. I think it's all of the sugar in them

Wow. I have been eating an apple with breakfast this week and wonder why I am hungry shortly after. Going to switch it up and see how I feel.

Do tart apples do that to you too ? I prefer the tart over sweet apples. I do like them sliced and sprinkled with cinnamon as a treat.

It is the sugar in apples causing you to be hungry.

Try eating organic only
by (2k points)
Can't see that that would be different. It only means the outside does not need to be cleaned from chemicals.

@emelun Emerson Ingrassia me too, but I’ve also learned that I can’t eat them on an empty stomach. If I eat something else first, I’m fine!

Eat protein foods will help you feel full and water also helps you feel full.

I have the same thing! Carrots too. My nutritionist said something like “hmm, your body must process sugar really quickly”. Hence feeling more hungry rather than satiated.
