Do you plan ahead for what you eat or do you just keep things you can have in the house and decide when you’re hungry?

Both. But most days I plan ahead. One tip I can offer as LIFETIME member for 1 year now is I eat my BIGGEST MEAL at Lunch.

A little of both. If I know that what I’ve taken out for supper might be higher points I try to balance out breakfast and lunch with more zero point foods - not all zero points though. I do keep low points snacks in the pantry for when I’m feeling munchy - both sweet and salty

I have been a WW for at least 30 years- on and off- I have always had the most success if I plan what I eat. Less chance of mind less eating which is dangerous!

Both. I try to keep options in the house all the time. I plan out the day before what I am going to eat rather than doing a week at a time, so I know a little bit more of what I will want to eat. If I plan it, but I don't want it, having other options helps me to not steer in the wrong direction.

Right now I try to keep low point options in the house. I’m high risk CV19, so I have to rely on others to shop for me.

I make up batches of soups, chilli, turkey muffins etc. and freeze them in individual meals. Then I decide what I want for lunch or dinner at the time. Always have a big salad made up for a couple of days as well as a fruit salad. Makes things easier for me.

I try to make enough of something to make 4-5 meals (like 4 lunches/dinners) that way 1 meal is planned for almost a week and the rest is as I go
+85 votes
by (8.5k points)
Plan out my meals mostly the day before. Try to eat something every 2-3 hours between 10-6. Keep lots of fruits and veggies and salad items on hand. Dannon light and fit yogurt and plain nonfat Greek yogurt. Light string cheese. Turkey sausage sticks. Eggs., light English muffins, deli chicken/turkey, 1 pt wraps.

I like to plan my dinners due to the meal consuming the most amount of points usually. I always have salad items and homemade vegetable soup on hand. The rest, depends on what we have.

Are usually get ingredients for two of my favorite weight watchers skillet meals and then I just get a lot of vegetables lean meats bananas eggs yogurt you know all the stuff light bread and just kind of put it together As I go, also…99% lean turkey sliced deli meat is a lifesaver for a quick snack with a slice of white bread. You just get into your own niche and shop accordingly

My husband and I plan dinners for about a week in advance. It helps us make our shopping list. Breakfasts and lunches consist of eggs, yogurt, steel cut oats, fruits, and veggies. Those foods are givens for the shopping list. I usually decide what to have for those meals a day in advance. Tracking ahead of time makes my stress level go down and makes me happy. This works really well for me.
