I purchased a small bottle of organic stevia sweetener and just used it for the first time in my brunch of plain yogurt and blueberries. It was sweet, but tasted so bitter, I’m throwing the whole dish out. Back to honey, even if I have to use a point or two! Has anyone ever had this problem with stevia?

I also found when I tried stevia it has an aftertaste that remains in your mouth even after drinking water. No longer use it I am used of being without sweetener.

Can’t stand most artificial sweeteners. They are nothing but chemicals. I have found Sweet N Low the best as far as aftertaste and I never use a whole pack. Way too sweet. Personally I’ll stick to my 1 tsp of sugar in my coffee.

Too much stevia can taste bitter. Honey isn't too bad, but try to train your tastebuds to enjoy less sweets, as it only makes you more hungry. If you cut it all together for a while you will realize everything has its own sweetness.
