Hard to find my motivation sick of cooking. Sick of chopping. Sick of chicken and dinner foods. I’ve been eating a granola bar, apple and cheese for dinner and usually a WW fudge bar for dessert. Anyone else not eat typical dinner food and still lose? Thanks

Seems like points are points as long as you are getting your protein and no carb loading sometimes it does good to switch up what we are eating

Some nights I just eat random things like popcorn and a banana.

I eat what I feel like having regardless of breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I prep lots of foods so if I want a salad in the morning I just get one from the fridge. I only have to cook for myself but if I had others here, they can fend for themselves unless they're too young. It's me first and I'm still losing after almost 2 years.

May favorite meal for dinner is fresh hummus and veggies and 1 pt. Pita. It’s only 1 pt and it’s my favorite meal. I eat more variety for lunch.

I don't always have chicken. In fact, tonight I am having burgers! Besides just the 0pt proteins, I have pork, beef and lamb. Also, I use frozen veggies, Perdue short cuts, bagged lettuce and spinach, etc. I really don't like to cook, so it better be quick and fairly easy. I rarely have frozen meals but, sometimes, those, too! I do not pre-prep a weeks worth of meals - that would drive me crazy and I don't have the room! Yes, I'll cook something more involved once in awhile but most of the time - nope! 79lbs gone!

Dinner doesn't have to be typical at all. It can be anything your points equal, and maybe a little more.

@angara you aren’t eating enough
by (1.6k points)
@angara you need to eat at least near your points allotment everyday. Your body isn't getting enough. Try planning to eat 1/3 of your points in each meal.

If you feel that way find recipes that are more assembly and less chopping and cooking. This allows you to eat fresh food without having to slave away in the kitchen.

Make casseroles, freeze portions, then you don’t have to cook every night. Make a few and alternate so you don’t get sick of them.

I look for slow cooker recipes when I get tired of cooking. I pick simple recipes and dinner is ready when I get home from work.
