I did weight watchers 16 years ago and was very successful with it. I've tried several times but I can't get back in the mind frame of counting my points. I would like to try Keto to get me going and help detox my body from all the junk then switch to WW when I'm in a good frame of mind. Can anyone offer me some help with some keto basics to get me going?

DO NOT do it! Keto is something you don’t jump in and out from. I did keto, lost some weight then plateaued- Went back to WW, yes it’s hard to get back into the grove but WW is something you can do forever in keto is very restricting

Don't. After 3 months on Keto my hair was falling out, my liver got fatty and I had a guall bladder attack. (No surgery thankfully). Husband did it too and is now on cholesterol meds. Def not worth the 12lbs I lost.

I agree that WW is the best. In the past when I was struggling to get back on board I did Atkins to help me detox and get my mind frame back. I don't feel that low carb is sustainable.

I cant track using the app. something about its just makes me fail. So i bought a food journal writing it all down instead of digitally tracking helps so much

I don’t think it’s for everybody . It wasn’t for me . I got extreme joint pain and couldn’t move . I switched to WW and feel great . I like to be able to eat everything and to have variety . I also don’t lose as fast as I have on the old system but i feel healthy . Isn’t that our goal ?! Good luck
