The whole point of weeklies is to allow you extras for those special dinners out, special occasions like birthdays, etc. They are part of the entire mindset of losing weight and becoming a Lifetime Member and maintain within 2 lbs. This is the ultimate goal with Weight Watchers! If you constantly deprive yourself of foods you love and don’t enjoy extras in a day on top of your daily points or use some of your weeklies, this won’t be a long lasting weight loss! There is so much more to this process of losing weight! It’s also changing how you view food and the choices you make! Remember this is not a diet, but a lifestyle change. You will need to play around with how many weeklies you can use in a week and still lose! But remember the average healthy weight loss per week is 1-2 lbs. Try not to get bummed when you see people on here posting a lot of weight loss in a week! I know it’s hard not to, but remember this your own weight loss journey. Everyone is different, but you will lose using the weeklies! It’s part of the program! You might find substitutions for some of your old favorite foods or if none do it justice, then eat that special craving, but count it and then move on. You will have many ups and downs in your journey, but don’t get discouraged! You can do this! Remember also the zero point foods still have calories and also they are not meant to be used everyday only! To be healthy you really need to add different foods to your diet! Of course using them more during the day when you have a dinner out or special occasion is the perfect way to use them. So to sum it up, don’t be afraid to eat your weeklies, because your ultimate goal is lifetime maintenance and you can only be successful at that if you learn how to make your own daily food choices work along with those splurges!
