Corned beef because we have some in the freezer that did not get eaten last month. We usually have people over for St. Patrick's day, but not this year.
by (4.5k points)
@colp116 I boil mine in water with the contents of little spice/seed packet that comes with it. Add carrots, cabbage, and cabbage later.
by (1.7k points)
@titanism thanks I will have a look. Can I ask where your from as I have never seen this in the UK for the meat to have the spices with it.
by (1.6k points)
@colp116 you can but what we do is this all we do is the meat about a cup of water and season packet with some onion powder and garlic powder s\p let it cook 4-6 hrs and take meat out add veggies and place meat back on top of veggies let cook about 2-3 hrs longer make sure broth in bottom if not add some water them let cook til veggies r done and enjoy, lol I like it with a slice of hot cornbread, lol
by (4.5k points)
@colp116 I now live near Atlanta, Georgia. They come packaged in sealed plastic with a spice packet. I'm not sure what's in it and the package doesn't say
by (1.7k points)
@titanism thanks. We don't have them here in the UK  thank you though for your advice. I will have a look at some recipes to see what the spices may be x
