Role Call!  May i please see my 39+ peeps?Role Call! May i please see my 39+ peeps? Every time I try and look up people to follow on YouTube or Insta they are all so young. 21-27 and they are just as beautiful and are trying just as hard, however, their metabolism is way different. So who here is 39+ and any recommendations on followings? I’ll be 40 in May and I’m hoping for a 15 pound weight loss. I’m really taking advantage of being home right now and focusing on myself for once ❤️

I’m 44. I’ve been a lifetime member for years but have fallen off the wagon & struggling to get my eating back on track! That’s why I joined this group for inspiration!
by (3.1k points)
@maccabees you’ve got this! 40’s are awesome, and I want to be even better for the 50’s. You did it once, you can get back.
by (3.3k points)
@talented3 Tadlock Thank you!
by (2.4k points)
@maccabees Age is a number. I realize everybody’s metabolism changes as we get older but you can retrain your metabolism by eating small meals all day and move move move
by (3.3k points)
@sophister Yes I can definitely tell as I get older, it’s harder to lose it as quick.

OK so I’ll be 50 a month from tomorrow. And as long as you stay in your points. EVEN if you use all your weeklies. you will lose weight. I’m on blue plan 23 a day. I have about 7 to 10 more pounds to lose. we started in January. there are 3 of us. all over age 45. you can do it !
by (1.8k points)
@sophister awesome! Congratulations to you! That’s awesome news ❤️ I’m at 24 points on blue plan and so far I’m doing pretty good. Are you also working out? I do 45 minutes on the treadmill and about 15 minutes weights and other exercises
by (2.4k points)
@masturbation I wish I could say I work out but I do not  I do however run a farm so I average between 15 and 20, 000 steps a day and I definitely do a lot of physical activity because of the animals
by (500 points)
How many pounds a week did you average?

I'll be 50 in September. I have over 100 pounds to lose. This stay at home thing isn't helping that but I still determined to do it.
by (1.8k points)
@demoss take it as an opportunity to work on you for a change ❤️ that’s what I’m doing. No work, no kids activities, no chaos lol I’m a total binge eater so I don’t buy stuff I know I will suck down. That’s the only way I will make this work. I’m also having my kids eat like me and the hubby too so that for sure helps  trust me I’m totally addicted to food in a horrible way
by (720 points)
I am addicted to food too. My husband shops like a 12 year old, so I've been ordering groceries instead of getting him to go out once a week to get them. I'm still working full time (from home) but now that I don't have a commute I'm getting stuff done around the house and generally being more active.
by (1.8k points)
@demoss that’s awesome! See you already making changes. Small steps make a big difference ❤️ I’m enjoying this group so far too they seem very encouraging and supportive!
by (2.4k points)
@demoss it’s very very hard. I don’t beat myself up over making bad choices. I just try to do better the next time I choose something to eat , and if I have a really bad day . I just try to have a really good day the next day . my ultimate goal is usually 70% eating healthy 30% eating unhealthy . I can’t not have stuff that I want because it just makes me want it more

45 here. I have a goal of 75 and have lost 15 since mid February. I am also on blue at 23 per day. My family, husband and 14 yr old daughter, eat pretty much what I do. I do buy them special snacks and myself. But together we are all eating better. I haven't started working out, still need to lose more to do that. I do walk, even if just around my house thru out the day.
by (2.4k points)
@gladdy every step counts. We have a three-story house andwe reside on the top floor. all the others are our business. so I average15 to 40 flights of stairs a day. I also always try to park as far away as I can from any place. I aalso walk to our mailbox rather than driving our 6 x 6 to get the extra steps. it’s a little less than a 1/4 mile round trip. every step you take. ABSOLUTELY counts

Ww works whatever your age, that's if you follow plan. I'm in my mid 60's and lost 100lb. I find it hard to maintain and about 7lb over my goal weight but hoping to get some lbs off for when classes restart

You ladies are really killing it! You give me so much inspiration ❤️❤️ and you’re all so successful. Keep up the hard work for sure. So I will be 40 in May like I said and since having my first born 17 years ago I’ve struggled bad! But having the second one 9 years ago kicked my butt for real. I’m really hoping to loose a total 50/60 pounds. I know it didn’t come on over night and I’m tired of expecting miracles. So I signed up on Friday and I’m taking one day at a time. So far I’m keeping on track and trying to make good decisions. I am down a pound so that’s good to me. I think slow and steady is better and easier to keep off and less saggy skin.

51 here and have been doing WW for 20 ish years (since the days of paper :) ). I first joined when I quit smoking and lost 30 lbs then it helped me lose after 2 babies in my late 30's where I had gained 40 lbs both times, then again during times of overindulgence. I also have a food blog where I share a lot of WW recipes: and you can find me on IG at https://www. instagram. com/foodmeanderings/

@lauren I’m so sorry Sonya! This virus is effecting so many. I’m trying my best to take advantage of being home. I work our daily now and really trying hard to keep my food in check. Can you go for walks? Download a video to do daily? Get your endorphins up it helps so much with depression

I’ll be 42 in June. I am on the struggle bus during this quarantine, but I feel more determined than ever.
by (1.8k points)
@talented3 Tadlock were all right there with you! I made a promise to myself I was focusing on me for the month of April. I put my entire family first all he time and I said listen up! You are all going to help yourselves this month cuz mama is doing her  I still do the cooking and housework but I don’t run around for their snacks and stuff anymore. They’re on their own
by (3.1k points)
@masturbation Bam! That’s awesome! I am focusing on moving. I can’t seem to stick to my points with eating while stuck at home, but I am trying. I am a teacher and miss my kids so much, and I’m a stress eater. My three kids love being outside, so I’m trying to stay outside or busy in the house instead of eating. I’m at the lowest weight I’ve been in my adult life, but I still have 30+ to get to goal. We’ve got this!

I'll be 40 in November. Eek. I'm down almost 50lbs since December 30th. I always meet my fit points, eat within my daily points, and almost never dip into weeklies. Working out has to happen for me because the eating healthy alone would take me forever. I've realized that since getting older. I personally like the Connect area within the app.

@mccarty awe inspiring so sorry ☹️ this is a really hard time I know. I try to stay out of my kitchen. Even if it means I watch my shows in my Bedroom. ☹️ try to stay positive and if your able to go for walks when bored or even drink lots of ice water!
by (880 points)
@masturbation , thanks for the advice & encouragement. My husband also works the night shift, so I’m going to have to set a strict eating schedule for myself, & cook & sit w/ him, but if it’s not mealtime for me, not eat, or make sure it is low points. I need to hold myself accountable & not use being stuck inside or his job as an excuse.

Honestly, you just have to do it. Use what you have right now, and eventually, you will have to do groceries at some point, so by then you’ll have an idea of point friendly foods, what to get, what not to get. Put things on a list to get for the future and don’t beat yourself up if you can’t stay within your points right now because of what you have stocked. Use this time as research and do your best. But you just have to do it. There’s not secret, no strategy. Just tell yourself enough is enough, and do it.
by (1.8k points)
@reinhold93 are their cheat sheets available? Just something I can hang on the fridge as reference? I checked the app and there was a guide but it won’t load. I also found the points lists but I can’t print them?
by (6.4k points)
@masturbation if there are, I haven’t used them. We use the app. Just scan or look up a food there. That’s our cheat sheet.
