These times are tough. I try to use crunchy snacks when I have a compulsion to want to eat something like: rice cakes, carrot sticks, snap peas, salted iron honey roasted sunflower seeds, apples. This way I can see it, feel it , prep it if I have to, smell it and taste it. The more I have chew it (crunchy) the more satisfying it feels without a ton of calories. I also mix it up with different crystal light beverages so I dont get board of water and I kay off the sodas. And last but not least when I get to the fridge and do the stare down or the search in the cupboard I stop and ask myself am I hungry or board. If I'm bored I draw, clean, organize, play with dog or do anything to distract me from the kitchen. Good luck everyone. This isn't easy but it's not impossible. Also if you have little ones go to YouTube on your smart TVs and do go noodle videos with them. They are super fun.
