I hear you. Some days easy. some days drudgery. I think I may have developed shin splints.

Sometimes you have to listen to your body. There is a big difference between doing that and just saying I just can not do it. Does that make sense. I walk everyday but when my body (with RA) does not respond I know to take a break.

you would of had great results and 4 mi. is certainly over the recommended steps of 10, 000. Get your Versa set up and let's do some steps comparison. Just an idea, not offended if you don't want too.

it is colder here in Chicago, so it might have something to do with that and what I ate too. Often, water gives me energy, but didn't drink enough prior to my walk that could be it too?

I am finding the heat from spring is kicking my energy butt. I have to wake earlier to jog or else my energy is gone. My 20 min jog/walk this afternoon felt like an hr jog/walk I usually do.
