I’m 70 and it’s not too late to start. Losing weight is slow at my age my metabolism is not that of someone 30. But if I loose 1 pound a week, I’ll take it! That’s 4 pounds a month etc etc. This morning I weighed myself and only lost 0. 2 lb! But I did make an Easter Dinner that could have fed 6 and only me and my husband ate. My fault for the second helpings if ham and mac n cheese. Desert didn’t help. But today start my new week and I’m motivated to track my food and drink my water. Walking helps too. GOOD LUCK - you can do it!

I'm turning 60 this year and have never been fatter. I too am depressed and disgusted. I wake up every morning and say I'm going to eat right and by afternoon I have chips in my hand. I pay my monthly fee to WW and never point. I have no willpower and I hate myself for it. Lots of things going on in my life that don't help. The biggest being my husband is battling a rare and aggressive cancer and I'm petrified. But it's just an excuse. A good one , but still an excuse. Good luck all of my WW family.

I can't seem to get started. I'm only 5'1 171lbs that alot of weight for me. I never weighed so much. It's so bad I have sciatica I can't move. I can't get started or motivated to stay on track. I ww years ago and never felt better. I know I'll feel better, and more energetic if I would just do it. . My health and everything is suffering from it. I had surgery on my shoulder last year, so that was the start of my gain. Then my Dr put me on meds for depression, and fibro which made me gain almost 50 lbs . I wasn't depressed, but o am now .

I have been a lifetime member of WW since 1996. I do have my ups and down in weight. I had gained weight again and at 70 y/o decided to go back. Met my lifetime goal and became a lot fee once again. Then the unthinkable happened - I developed lymphedema from an infection and gained 42 lbs. I am now almost 74 and have lost 16 lbs since Feb. My doctor told me not to get discouraged b/c I may not be able to lose since the weight is lymph fluid. It’s been slow, but I’m hanging in there. Don’t be discouraged b/c of your age - I found it really has nothing to do with it!
