No sugar, no flour, diet is way more important than exercise. So if it’s hard to have willpower for both, focus on the diet. And good luck, you got this!

@caudate5 so true. my job is pretty active , so I never had anything left in me for a workout. Lost 30# that way. Now I am laid off, so I added 45 min of walking a day, but what you eat and drink is the biggest factor.

I came across this info in several podcasts and books by MDs that I looked into on the subject. Exercise is really important for your brain and other functions. For weight loss - diet is #1. On a side note, sorry to hear you got laid off, hopefully it’s not for long. Now that I’m home all the time, I make it a point to move more as well.

@caudate5 This is the first time I have ever been laid off. I'm an RN, but I work in elective surgery. Because I'm 63 years old ( young, really), I'm in a high risk group, so I just got furloughed. I'm hoping to get back in July. Not sure this retirement gig is working for me. stay healthy!

Fitbit 6, 000-10, 000 steps 5 days a week. Drop the sugary drinks. I weighed what you did, started there, dropped 10 lbs quick

Work your plan, drink your water, and move your body

Trust the plan. make wise food choices, track every bite, lick, taste and sip. Measure portions with measuring cups or a food scale - our eyes lie to us and portion distortion is real. Move more when you can. Drink plenty of water. Repeat!

Keep going. Don't let a bad choice force you to quit. Every day is a new day.

Watch how many zero pt foods u eat. Zero pts do not equal zero calories. It takes 3500 less calories consumed to loose 1lb
