Ok so this is week one of WW. (I started saturday). During the days while I'm at work I feel like I'm eating and staying satisfied. My problem is at this time of the evening. It's post dinner but not quit bedtime and I crave sweet stuff. I'm a cupcake/cookie monster. I have done well this week and so far I'm down 7 pounds. But I can't shake the night time crave for sweet stuff. Any tips?

A sugar free pudding cup is good. Or a bit of protein, like a piece of chicken. And don't keep cookies, etc. in the house. If someone else wants them, let them keep them in a cupboard, or in their room, so they are not in plain sight to tempt you.

Same for me. I use strawberries with a little dark chocolate Hershey syrup and FF whip cream. A little syrup goes a long way. Sometime I add a banana but watch to many bananas

@muchness I use one container of cool whip to 1 serving of the PB2. I think it’s 2 tablespoons. I mix really well and place in the freezer

Eat a piece of fruit and go to bed unsatisfied, craving and starving. Then lay sleepless until the wee hours, feeling starved and deprived. Do it enough times and it becomes habit.

I like to take a premier protein shake and put it in the blender with ice and a little bit of vanilla extract. It blows up. I guess air gets in during blending. It ends up being two glasses full and still only 2 points. Sometimes I add PB2 if I want a chocolate peanut butter shake. That adds another point.

It takes time to get over the sugar addiction, the physical addiction, and more time to break the mental addiction. Every day or night that you don't give in will make you that much stronger.

I like chocolate Graham crackers with lite whip cream. Then you stick them in the freezer and it you have an "ice cream" sandwich. Delicious! And satisfies my sweet tooth.

Pretrack one sweet treat per night and let yourself have it. It may mean cutting out a snack earlier in the day or shaving a few points off lunch or even dipping into your weeklies. But I would try to work with your preferences, not fight them. Knowing you can have a small indulgence at the end of the day will keep you happy on the program and help you stay committed and successful. So maybe choose a little bit of ice cream, or some dark chocolate, or two cookies or whatever. Keep portions reasonable, track it honestly, enjoy it and move on!
