@lowry0 absolutely! Love your idea of water. I’ve recently started adding ginger to my tea. It kills my sweet cravings

Get dressed in your every day clothes periodically and vow to yourself " I'm not buying bigger clothes, I've worked too damn hard to get where I am! " Reality checks are always sobering.

It’s very hard but I tell myself this is one thing I can control when the world is so out of control.

Tracking is the only thing that works for me. If I don't log it, and try to do it in my head, I almost always eat more.

I hear you! Everyday is the weekend for me. Just can’t stay away from the fridge☹️ Trying to keep busy. Worked out this morning and going on a long walk after lunch. For me, when I start working out I find I eat better as well. Trying not to think about what’s happening around us. Taking all this free time I have to get healthy again. And of course tracking is a must. Good luck!

Tracking really works for me, and is especially important on the weekends for me. During the week I am working from home, so I track and measure my meals and snacks, to bring to my desk.

There is no easy answer to your question, we all struggle , you just have to decide week ends are your weak days and make an extra effort to stay on track

Ok full disclosure , I eat whatever I want on Saturday , full on cheat day . That’s being said , in the beginning I really cheated , now I tend to only go all out sat dinner and snacks . Sometimes I point it all out and feel horrible . Mostly I don’t . Because we all deserve a break , life is stressful right now , and honestly sometimes knowing I can eat whatever sat helps me get through it ! And sometimes I’m totally not feeling like cheating on sat and I’m good . But I think giving myself the freedom too helps me eat better all week gives me something to look forward and just takes some pressure off .

Dont give up and let that discourage you. just keep going. behavior change is gradual. when you ate discouraged you have a tendency to quit. keep your goals attainable and in reach. have one day on weekend when you can have a treat. dont over do it. even if you do. so what. get back on track, count points and give your self credit for sticking to it. dont worry it will come.
