You need to focus on more zero point foods

Where do your points go? Coffee creamer? Bread? Cheese? Beer? If you can identify one of those daily point suckers, find an alternative or cut down a bit. The little things add up!

You need to plan your daily meals ahead of time and plan your points

In the morning pre-track your whole day to stay within your points. If there are items you binge on, don't eat them at all, until you get the hang of it.

I’m on blue and some days I see myself starting to go over, because of bread and grains, so I have a mostly 0 point dinner to make up for it.

I put my dinner points in 1st, as long as I have dinner planned ahead of time. Then i know what I can eat the rest of the day. I eat 0 pt foods for lunch, usually some grapes and veggies. Breakfast I have coffee, eggs and 2 slices of toast (2pts a slice).

@ballyhoo218 this is such a great idea

@phylys0 I realized I was going over my pts once it came to dinnertime, so I started doing this! I think it helps a lot! I am still only a couple months in so I am learning how to figure out what works for me! I also love dessert, so if I know ahead of time what I am eating I can plan for those dessert points too!

I do better if I eat a salad or zero point soup at least once a day to save point for a more balanced meal later, snacks are fruits or hummus and veggies or tortilla chips. Lots of water

Understand! Try to make a breakfast or lunch zero and eat the points for the others.

Switch to green. Less no points foods but 30 pt daily.

It's hard to stay at your points if you don't eat zero point foods. I changed to green so I can have alot more choices of foods and more points. It seems like a lot more points when you eat different foods everyday.

I was on blue for many years, and always ate lots of zero point foods for filler foods or snacks. I'm on purple now, and only have 16 points, and still do the same.

I would do green. It gives you a lot more points, for example i have 47 points daily. There are less free points but unless i drink soda or go out to a fast food restaurant I find it hard to use all my points.

Have you thought of intermittent fasting. I don’t eat from 7:30pm-10am. My eating times are compressed into less than 12 hrs. Easier to stay on point and it solved many of my gut issues.

@subeditor49 yes, I like intermittent fasting.

Try pre-tracking on paper. Low or zero point snacks like a sliced apple with a dash of cinnamon. Bulk up your meals with zero points so they are both filling and low in points.

Go on Green, you track and know exactly what your points are with only fruit and certain vegetables free. If you're really having problems, I found that I will post in my evening snack food early in the day, I know I'm going to eat those points that way they are already counted and I won't go over the daily points.

Pre plan, prep and track your meals. Make a meal plan and stick to it. I track my foods during breakfast for the day and just only eat what I've input. Try adding more water and balance your meals with more 0 point foods maybe

Or maybe post what you eat in a day and we can suggest ways/ where to cut points

@wardieu I love Italian bread, so I spend there at breakfast. Planning put food in advance worked well today. I'm going to keep that up!

Track before you eat. plan the whole day ahead. Make sure to have your snack - low point or zero point. It helps keep you in charge. rather than hunger or cravings.
