Last ten are the toughest! Mix things up a bit, use your extra points every few days and go low point a few days and the same with exercise, put in intervals od guicker, heavier minutes or more cardio time some days. Your body adjusts to your steady input and output so giving it some changes can get you started again!

They say if you go back to the liquid diet it will help. Good luck!
by (1.9k points)
@perform what is the liquid diet?
by (690 points)
Back to the beginning of when we had to do liquids only for example 3 protein shakes and clear liquids like jello if you search pouch reset you will get different options

I gained weight by following the ww program
by (1.2k points)
@nomarchy3 same thing happened to me years ago, then I figured out I was carb sensitive. I rejoined WW on blue maintaining a lower carb lifestyle and have lost 32 lbs over the last year
by (700 points)
@framboise Waauw! With or without carbs nothing works for the moment.
by (1.2k points)
@nomarchy3 I am sorry that it doesn’t work for you, try eliminating other things and see if you find that one thing that prevents you from losing. Also exercise is key also - even if we are eating right we still need to burn more than we take in
by (700 points)
@framboise I knoW. I went to the gym every other day

More water , more protein, more green veggies, or do a vegetable juicing cleanse and do not steer off whatsoever. Get there and you’ll need to be super disciplined going forward. Clean food only. Don’t freak out if it goes up and down upto no more then 5 lbs for water retention. Be very mindful of what you’re putting in your body/ system to keep the goal a long term steady success.

I had the same, didn’t change anything kept going, 6-8 weeks later it just started dropping again. It’s like your body taking its time to readjust. I didn’t have time to change my routine. Just trust the process and it will drop off again.

I had this problem the last few wks. Ive been sure to keep hitting my water goal of 75 oz., also I took in a slight bit more carbs (still stayed in my points) and it helped even tho I felt guilty for not eating so clean.
by (4.1k points)
Also made sure to hit my exercise goal if walking 20k steps and active for more than an hr a day.

Really look at what your doing and then reevaluate it. No bites, licks or taste or if you do be accountable to it. As we drop the pounds our body doesn't need as much as it did when we started. Tweak your plan and good luck. The less you have to drop the slower it is. My last 5 lbs is taking me a long time but I'm getting there.

The last 10 are the hardest because you start doubting yourself and stressing. So today you start WW right from the beginning! Everyday is a new fresh start. We all get into that frame of mind at one point or another. I reread the post I share with other people that are just starting out or need refocusing when I need to refocus myself. Maybe something on this will help you. The good thing is it is a new day! Today you start fresh. Today is your first day! Welcome to WW! Here are some basic tips TRACK every lick, bite, and taste. The program does not work if you don't track. You can lie to the tracker but your body knows what it ate. MEASURE breakout the measuring spoons, cups and the food scale. Don't eyeball it you will be wrong. EXERCISE find something you love. You won't do if you hate it. I personally like walking, dancing when the weather says don't walk, and cardio-drumming. I do cardio-drumming from YouTube videos. Nothing is more satisfying than hitting things with sticks. If you need to start easy try marching in front of the TV during commercials and then build yourself up to a whole show. MEAL PREP I always keep a big bin of chopped onions, a big bin of chopped bell peppers, and a big bin of chunks of cooked chicken breast. I also have staples like cucumbers, tomatoes, spinach, pasta, laughing cow triangle cheese, olive oil farro, tzatziki sauce, garlic, eggs, apples, oranges, bananas, berries, whatever is in season. This way when I am hungry I have healthy choices. Breakfast omlette throw together garlic, onions, peppers, eggs and then fold it over a cut up wedge of laughing cow cheese. For lunch a very easy tzatziki chicken. Chicken, bell pepper, onions, cucumber, tomatoes. Toss it with tzatziki sauce. You can put it on a pita, eat it without the pita, or what I like to do is RIP up half a pita and mix it in after the tzatziki is mixed in. For dinner maybe a salad with the spinach, onions, peppers, chicken. Etc. Maybe pasta or rice with anything on the list. The most important tip is KINDNESS be as nice to yourself as you are to others. When you are giving your self negative back talk, ask yourself if that is how you would speak to a friend and give yourself a break. I almost forgot. zero points does not mean zero calories. For instance, a banana is zero points but if you over banana you are gonna get yourself into trouble. EAT you need to eat within 10 below and 5 above your points level. If consistently under eat your body thinks there is a famine and holds on to every ounce of weight it can until the famine is over. Under eating and over exercising is a bad combo. If you stick to 5 below and 5 above it works better. for me at least. You are not alone in this. A lot of us join with that "last resort" mentality. But don't think that way. Take a nice before picture with a big smile because today is the day your life changed for the better. You are gonna get healthy, you are gonna be fit. You are gonna breathe better. You just need to give it some time. This is a slow process but it is a process that works. I'm excited for you taking this big step towards a healthier life. You might want to sit down and write yourself a love letter stating why you joined WW and what your long term goals are, how you will accomplish them (small term goals) and what you will be able to accomplish when you get there! I personally would like to be able to get up off the floor without having to hoist myself up on the couch like I am climbing Mount Everest. That is one of the things future me will be able to do. Last tip. don't hang out in the kitchen. Eat there, cook there, clean the dishes. But if it isn't kitchen related get out of there it is too tempting. Also do not compare your journey to anyone else's. We are all different. We all have different metabolisms. So mind your own journey and don't worry that someone else lost more that week. It won't help your progress.

I did the HCG diet when trying to kill the last few lbs It’s a VLCD, 500 cal/day taken with HCG supplements to surprise hunger. Protein and vegetables only, no sweets or sugar- only hand full of fresh fruit after meals 3 oz high protein meat, 1c non starch veg, with HCG supplement a half hour before. You can lose 1lb/day.
by (11.5k points)
@newark Culp did this also in Florida to get ready for the last date of weight I needed to lose where would I wanted to wear and be the size I wanted to be for my son's wedding after losing 80 lb weight loss surgery and I hope change in my entire lifestyle. I bought it $400 dress for $20 at a clearance sale at Ross. It was beautiful and that just about fit in it but I was determined went to see a doctor and follow the HCG protocol including the diet. It works very very well and then you must follow I'm strict diet to keep that weight off it is very easy to regain what you have lost but yes a pound a day I did lose so yes you can lose that last 10 lbs doing this in less than the 10 days but make sure if you really are struggling that you get on an exercise plan and proper do not stay on 500 calorie or less plan it is not healthy for you but it does work 10 lb never killed anyone and I was very very obsessive over it I have gained back some of my weight from that weight loss surgery and am working very hard to get it off but a much healthier way not saying it's a bad thing to do because I loved it but you have to know that 500 calories is not enough to stay on permanently

Besides points, I started tracking my sodium. The recommended amount you should have is at least 2300 milligrams. It made my scale move. Natural foods obviously have no sodium, so it helps to eliminate processed foods.
