Good Morning!  I have a question and I’m sure there is a simple answer but I can’t find it.Good Morning! I have a question and I’m sure there is a simple answer but I can’t find it. How do I keep track of how many calories I eat per day? I track my points daily and I’m normally in a hurry when I do, so I never notice (track) the calories. Is there a separate App I can use for that? SometimesI feel that I may not getting all the calories I need. Thank you all so much

Sometimes I post a day’s worth of eating using MyFitnessPal just to check my calorie intake. The app is free.

You don't count calories. If you stay in your points the right calories . Researchers at WW have already worked out a formula so we don't need to do double counting.

@aristippus many WW coaches will tell you if you find you aren’t losing or that you hit a plateau to count calories, sometimes you are over doing zero point foods.

If i stay within my points and dont eat zero points items its about 800 to 000 calories

@zara3519 I have been a WW member for years and have never heard a coach tell someone to count calories. Yes I have heard them say to look at how zero point foods someone was eating because they do have calories.

I use an app called Lose It! There are many features on it, but I only use the free version.

Just go by the points. If you feel you need more food eat 0 points foods. You won't go wrong this way. Calorie counting on top of points will be too confusing. WW has done all the work for you

@rattail4 I do it and it's not confusing at all.

I have asked WW if they plan to allow us to sync with Fitbit or Myfitnesspal for food tracking. I want to know my average calcium and protein intake. This is for not just for weight loss but overall health. I also asked if they plan to add nutrient summaries to the WW app. No response after over a week.

Stay within your point range and you don't count calories.
