Hi Everyone.  I’m at a standstill.Hi Everyone. I’m at a standstill. I started on 2/1 and up until 4/13 I lost 19. 5 and now nada. One month and nothing. In fact last week I gained 1. 2 lbs. I’m still weighing, measuring and staying within my points. I started working out around the time I stopped losing. I’m so depressed. I’ve got 35 more pounds to go! ANYWAY — I’m switching from green to blue in an effort to change things up a bit? What do y’all think and have any of y’all done this with success during a stall? Thanks!

I just broke through a plateau last Friday after 6 weeks! I know exactly what you are going through. I’m not going to lie . it sucked! Just continue doing what you’re doing, keep tracking, keep drinking your water , stay focused. do not get discouraged because it is a process and remember where you started at weight wise and where you are now weight wise. let me tell you, when I stepped on the scale last Friday and had lost . it was like  BAM ! So just know you’ve got this!

That just happens. I try to switch my mindset to celebrate staying the same. Its hard. Especially now. But look what you have done. Keep a straight line ( tracking daily) and your body will shift. Take care of yourself.

I think adding exercise makes you gain muscle. Before starting weight watchers I did beachbody religiously every day for 60 days and GAINED 10lbs. I would stay the course and expect a fat whoosh

I keep gaining and losing the same 2 to 3 pounds in the seven weeks. I about to just give up. I think most of the problem is I'm not the one shopping. So I have lost control of what I can eat. It's killing me. Trying to stay on program but I'm fading fast.
by (1k points)
@flareup don’t fade!

@glossematics9626 I'm doing my best not too.

by (270 points)
@lorileelorilyn6 yes but since I'm still under going chemo treatments. I won't go to the stores.

@flareup makes sense! Much success on your journeys ❤️

You can order groceries from many stores including Walmart and either have them delivered or use their no-contact pick up service. Puts you in complete control of what goes into your kitchen. Don't fade. The alternative is not good.

I'm kinda the same., the last 3 weeks I have not lost but on track everyday. I have done ww before so not sure what is going on this time. Not switching plans because blue or purple won't work for me. going to keep plugging along.

Plateaus are real and very frustrating. Many have opinions on how to break through. I don’t know if any really work or if it just gives us something to do. I do know that Patience and Perseverance always win The other possibility is working out messes with the scale. Working out builds muscle and muscle has weight. Swapping fat for muscle is a good thing but it doesn’t show on the scale. It shows in a stronger leaner body. Make sure you are taking your measurements! You may also need to eat more if you are working out a lot. Your body needs sufficient fuel or it goes into starvation mode. If your not eating weeklies and/or fit points, experiment

You’re probably gaining muscle if you’re working out so pay more attention to your measurements not the scale

Okay guys, i just mapped out my meals for the rest of the day and because i have more free things to eat on blue I’m using points for healthy fats! I’m liking that a lot! Before 4 points of olive oil (1 tbs) was a waste on 2 points of beans. Any thoughts on blue?

How much exercise are you doing? You may not be eating enough and therefore your metabolism is slowing down.

@forficate36964 I get 10k steps on most days and some of those steps are 30 min of cardio and every other day I do 30 min of HIIT and no other cardio. According to my fitbit I’m burning 2100 cals a day and according to the numbers I ran on green I was eating between 1000 and 1350 cals a day. (Which happens to be my BMI too ). So that was an average of 900 cal deficit which honestly I do think is too much. It worked for 2. 5 months and now it’s not. I just tallied my cals on my first day of blue and they’re around 1450-1500 total. That’ll leave a smaller deficit that may be healthier. And it’s not like I’m 3 lbs to goal or anything. I have at least another 40 lbs to go!

You’ve done the math. It sounds like it should work. Be sure to drink your water too.
by (1k points)
@forficate36964 thank you. I think so! Apparently I’m moderately active (something I’ve never been before) so between 1500 and 1600 cals should be my sweet spot

Are you eating the exact same number of points every day? If so, mix that up by having higher point days and lower point days (google sprengel123 plan). Are you drinking all your water? That helps. Are you eating the exact same foods every day? If so, change it up. Whatever you do, DONT QUIT! I quit 20 pound out from my goal and now I’m 70 pounds out  you can do it!
by (1k points)
@nidorf I love that page! Yes I was for 3 months eating the exact number of cals. Now I have no problem going into my weeklies and on blue I tallied the last two days and I’m at 1500-1600 cals. Green was 1000-1200 way too low! Two days in on higher cals and I’m down 1/4 lb so far and that’s the most I’ve lost all month lol. YOU GOT THIS TOO! Don’t give up. It’s worth everything!

@glossematics9626 that’s great!  woohoo! I’m back at it too! I’m tired of waiting for the perfect time to start - when all is calm. Like that’s ever happening  hugs! We got this!

I think switching to blue will help. Stress could be a factor. try to be positive. good luck. we’re all having big and little struggles at this time.
by (1k points)
@binge21 thanks Denise. I’m too blessed to be stressed.
by (9k points)
Good to hear your not stressed. like most of us at this time.

@binge21 oh I was in March for about a week then I began to count my blessings and changed my mindset. It’s a difficult time for sure, no doubt but prayer helps ❤️❤️❤️

That’s when I was worse also. once I was able to see my kids even from a distance I was happy, ☺️. thankfully I live in N. B. Canada and we are doing so well . we are able to have a 2 family bubble. amongst other perks. and have 6ft distance visits with up to ten people outside( haven’t done that one yet. ) . it’s not been warm enough to have that. and they have started to open the stores /malls parks, etc. But we are very careful wearing masks and gloves etc. and wiping things down. I hope you guys are doing well also, where are you living?
