I'm down almost 30 lbs, which is half way to my goal weight, but I've been stuck around the same 3 pounds for the last month. I don't know what to do. I switched from purple to green to see if I my portion size was off or if I was eating too much zero point carbs, that's all been adjusted. I've added more veggies to my meals, drinking water throughout the day, measuring and tracking everythimg, exercising 2-3 times a week, and nothing is working. URG! Any other suggestions?

@nyasaland75 me too. It seems the same three pounds are up and down for the last few weeks and I'm fed up to the teeth!

Just keep at it. it will happen! Do you use your weeklies?
by (3.8k points)
@fenestella I don't use my weeklies. I typically don't even use all my daily points. I try to just focus on getting my blue dot.

@egestion8410 maybe you should try it. it works for me! I eat all my weeklies but none of my fit points.

Maybe you aren’t eating enough!

I went through that. I (probably by default) went and used all of my dailies and weeklies weeklies and stopped being so strict. I got a little more active and drank a bunch of water. I ate drank and was merry with my friends. The following week I lost 7 pounds. I think I needed to reset my body and being happy honestly. It doesn’t make a lot of sense, but I gave myself some freedom and it jump started my weight loss again.

I try to do that and it seems like it's having the opposite effect. One week I had sushi and went up 4 lbs that week. then I got it off and then yesterday I had some bean dip and chips and now I'm back up 3lbs. Its so frustrating. I'm sure it's not that but it's like the days that I do allow myself to be a little more relaxed it throws everything off

Do you weigh yourself everyday? Also I know us women have a lot of fluctuations due to hormones. Just keep going! It will come off, slowly but surely is the right way.

I have a habit of stepping on it all the time but I only take into account my weekly weight for that reason. Thanks for the encouragement

I like the Wendie Plan idea to help reset after a plateau. It makes sense that your body‘s metabolism begins to stall overtime. Eating a bit more makes it work hard again

Try the Wendie plan. Google it. She came up with a way to take your Daily points and weeklies and shocking your system. People say it helps get you out of stall. I am trying it this week.

@cynthea9 thanks for this info! I just just got out a cycle of tracking and not with no consistency. I know I’ll lose some quickly of what I’ve gained during quarantine, but this makes so much sense of why our bodies plateau. I’m reading this Wendi plan now. Appreciate the tip!

I was losing and gaining the same 2 pounds for about a month and I shook it up I too, try to leave 10 points at the end of every day I don’t use weekly or activity points however two days before my way in I will eat all the points allotted to me and maybe a few more and believe it or not this kick started the weight loss again so I’ve lost about 4 pounds in the last two weeks after doing that. They have a thing called Wendie plan calculator

What about trying to workout everyday? A daily walk can burn some of the consumed calories

Are you eating the same meals every day/week? I find that if I have the same breakfast(ie oats) lunch(ie sandwich w ham) and dinner(ie pasta) everyday - i do not loose, but if I change regularly(it does take some planning and cunning shopping) i do loose more easily. I also swap between excersise routines. Xx

Change the type of exercise. your body can get used to what your doing and therefore doesnt get a challenge

Try to switch it up. When I was stuck I swapped out shrimp, scallops, beef or tuna instead of 5 days of chicken. I also mixed up the points. For example, one day 23 (blue plan) then 28, then 19 then 23, etc. I also made sure I drank half my body weight in water and I walked 10, 000+ steps per day. I did this for a week and lost 4. 5 pounds that week and hit goal.

Our bodies just love certain weights. Maybe eat dinner at lunch time and smaller evening meal.

I did the same so for a couple days I did eat things i normally wouldn’t and didn’t count points then went back strong. Sometimes you just gotta shake things up. After that I started dropping again
