I'm doing my first one now. It's nice because you do it at your pace and you get a neat medal once you've hit whatever distance you chose to run/walk (1mi, 5k, 10k, and marathon). The one I'm doing now is for Memorial day (the "races" are themed), so its getting me to walk, at least, every day. And, it gives me my own deadline of when I want to finish the race. Since this one is for Memorial day, I want to have it finished by the actual Memorial Day. I'm only walking, and my goal with the "race" is to walk the 5k in one round.
