I think I may run a camera or 2 (pro 2) using constant power. Those that have done that, have you left the battery in or removed it? Thanks.

You don't have to leave the battery in if you run a cable but you do if it's connected to a solar panel

Leave the battery in then if by any reason you lose main power to camera it will run on its battery
