Any work from home RNs out there? I’ve been a stay at home mom for 8 years and I’m thinking to go back to work. I’d like to work from home. I’m looking for information on your experience of what it means to telecommute and/or work from home as an RN.

I am an LCSW and I work from home as a supervisor for a Medicaid Health Plan. We have 2 of us that are LCSWs and the remainder, about 14 are RNs. Its a wonderful job, pays well, very good benefits, morally fulfilling. I love working from home and its so flexible whwn my daughter is sick or i need to keep her home from daycare

They now have those website where people can see a nurse or doctor onkine, one that I've used is Teladoc. Possibly they hire RNs to work from home?

Or you can look into become a telephonic nurse case manager in insurance/managed care.
