How do you make sure no one steals your creatives? Is there a tool inside Facebook that allows you to upload your protected content?

Cool! just applied. the reason I am doing this is because I want to protect my ad creatives from being stolen, and I do not want to add a watermark because I find it will ruin the video. Would this protect the video even if someone crops it, edits it a little in terms of color/switching scenes/switching audio?

It works. Also, for images, use Pixys. I've made thousand of dollars on pixsy. If you have an image/photo, and some store in another country -- Denmark, Singapore, Hungary, Pixsy will send a lawsuit paper to over 31 countries. Works pretty good as most people will settle out of court for any image theft.

@rachael7070 got it, and this works if the said ad creative is not copyrighted right? the video was made from scratch with our actors, our videographer, etc. but i didn't register for a copyright and I'm pretty sure i have to if i plan on sending lawsuit papers

@rachael7070 That's interesting. How much does Pixys cost?

@popsicle3025 Doesnt need to be formally copyrighted

@azotobacter7540 Pixsy is free up to 300 images. They have other plans. But basically what they do is they do all the legwork and take a cut . I dont know the exact cut is but if they ask for $2000 and the offender settles, they get a few hundred. To me, it is a win-win as they do all the work and I would never have found the violators. Their system scans the internet. So if they charge whatever and I get something, then good.

@rachael7070 Sounds amazing. Maybe a little bit harsh to sue or take money from every teenager who watched a Shopify guru video and just thought it's ok to take some pictures for his store, but on the other hand at the moment I need to file one DMCA a day, so that would save me a lot of time :-)

@rachael7070 One more question sorry. Do you also upload pics done by influencers or by customers (for reviews for example)? Not sure who would be the copyright owner of those.

@azotobacter7540 You dont own the rights by influencer unless they give it to you. The Customers (reviews), they own the copyright. Again, unless they give that to you but I dont know which end user would. You can sync too.

@rachael7070 I'm just uploading the images now. The tool looks awesome! But what happens if you sync Instagram and let's say you reposted a pic from an influencer or customer with your product. Could it happen that Pixsy contacts the influencer threatening on your behalf?

Ah I understood now. It just monitors for matches first and then you can still decide if you want to take action or not.

@rachael7070 @popsicle3025 Facebook declined my application for rights manager :-( No further information. Just: Thank you for your interest in Rights Manager. We cannot grant your Page access to use Rights Manager at this time based on the information you provided in your application. We hope to expand Rights Manager to more Pages in the future, so check back for more updates.
