I hope it’s ok to ask on here. Could you please if it is ok pit grow peonies in a large pot and use normal compost? Seen some lovely deep red ones in Lidl but due to a garden project the is nowhere to plant them in the ground. Do they come back every year? Thank you

Mine are in a pot they were in it when we moved here 3 years ago mine are pink and they smell gorgeous :)

Yes they do come back every year, I have had 2 for many years now.

Just don't plant too deep or you won't get any flowers
